5 Days to Peace, Women of God

These are strange, if not trying, times.

Some feel scared and anxious while others see this as a time to slow down and focus on God and family. Most of us swing back and forth between the two on a daily basis.

While we try to focus on the positive and count our blessings during the pandemic as we experience outpourings of neighborly love, extra family time, and technology to keep us connected, there’s also some uncertainty that accompanies it.

How long will this last? Am I doing everything I can to protect myself and the ones I love? How can I do my part in slowing the spread? How is this going to affect my family financially? Will the economy recover quickly?

Endless questions go unanswered as we wait it out.

But you aren’t alone. After several weeks of being cooped up, we thought it was about time to infuse a little more hope into the situation. And what better time than for Mother’s Day?!

In 2020, everything seems to look a little different from years past, and Mother’s Day is no exception. Maybe you have a family tradition of going out for a big Mother’s Day brunch. Or maybe you were hoping for a relaxing spa day or a fun getaway with your spouse. While those things may have to wait until next year, that doesn’t mean this Mother’s Day can’t be one of your sweetest and most memorable yet. It’s all in how you look at it.

To help calm your mind and ease your spirit, we’ve prepared a special five-day devotional for you, inspired by the faith and prayers of mothers in Africa who are also striving to keep their families safe during these uncertain times.

Whether you’re a mother who could use a spiritual pick-me-up or simply a friend of 4africa who could use some encouragement right about now, this devotional is for YOU! No matter who you are or where you’re at, these five days of scripture and prayer were prepared to bring you hope and spiritual refreshment.

We love you. We are praying for you. We are here for you.

God bless you,
The 4africa Team
